About Jim Binion

I’m originally from Mansfield, Ohio, where I was first introduced to the mortgage industry by my uncle, who owned a mortgage company. Inspired by that early exposure, I began my own journey in the mortgage business in 2000 and spent the next nine years building a strong foundation in the field.

After that, I explored other entrepreneurial ventures—owning and operating two health clubs, launching three massage therapy businesses, and working in real estate. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges and goals of self-employed clients and investors, a group I continue to connect with today.

I returned to the mortgage industry about three years ago, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives through homeownership. I hold degrees in Business and Biomedical Technology, along with multiple licenses and certifications in holistic medicine. Helping others—whether through health, home, or financial guidance—has always been at the heart of what I do.
